Step Cut Diamonds

I bet you did not know that step cut diamonds were named after their resemblance to a mirrored staircase! Well, yes they were!

Step cuts are either square or rectangular in shape, and its facets are arranged parallel to one another. These types of diamonds are so unique and so elegant, and they are known for their beauty and clarity.

In this "family" of diamond cuts there are emeralds, asschers, and baguettes, among other variations. Many prefer them over brilliant diamonds because of their transparency and the glamour they emit, over the sparkle of a brilliant cut diamond.
